SERVPRO Spray Serum Kills Mold in Crawlspace

Mold was discovered in the crawlspace in this Hixson home during an inspection. The condensation in the cool, dark   crawlspaces makes them an ideal home for mold. Also, these spaces contain a "food source" for mold, such as an organic matter like wood. Our technicians first removed the wet insulation, treated the mold and mildew with an anti microbial solution (Serum 1000), dried the wet floor joists, and removed and reset the vapor barrier using dehumidifiers. We were able to completely rid this crawlspace of mold and provide tips to the homeowners on how to avoid mold in the future. You can find those tips here.
