Chattanooga Moldy Mountain Get-a-Way- Back to a Vacation Home

The seasonal owners of this home in Chattanooga were shocked upon their return to see the devastation caused by an enormous mold infestation. We removed the furnishings for cleaning and then focused on the structure. The pine shiplap was non-salvageable in areas of the structure, so it was decided to toss them and scrub, sanitize, and apply a mold and mildew retardant primer to the exposed framing. We employed air scrubbers to capture the mold spores and particles during the service as our applied microbial remediation technicians donned hazmat clothing along with other PPE (personal protection equipment.) The fully restored interior was ready for habitation after the rebuild.
